Move In & Move Out
Tenants are responsible for completely vacating the apartment no later than 12:00pm (noon) on the date of lease termination. Please see lease addendum for more information regarding move-in / move-out logistics.
Cleaning
The apartment must by completely clean upon move out. This includes all floor, bathrooms, cabinets, appliances, shelving, etc. All furniture must be removed and brought to a nearby dumping facility. Tenants shall not dump furniture at the trash area for the property or they will be fined $100 per piece of furniture.
If the apartment is not 100% clean upon move in the landlord or new tenants will hire a cleaner and the amount will be withheld from the old tenants security deposit. The receipt for the cleaning must be emailed to maintenance@perpetualre.com within 10 day of the start of the lease or it will not be reimbursed.
Apartment Condition Notification
If there are any damaged or broken items the tenants shall email maintenance@perpetualre.com within five days of the move in date and inform the landlord via email. There is no apartment condition statement.
Keys
Upon move in and move out collaboration between the old and new tenants is requested in order to coordinate key swap. If you do not have the contact information for the old or new tenants email maintenance@perpetualre.com and that contact information will be provided to you.
Lease Renewal
Tenants should notify the landlord by January 1st of every year indicating if they plan to renew their lease the following year. Tenants can swap roommates while extending the lease. All new lease documents including cosigners must be complete. The tenants must email the full names, cell phones, and email addresses of the tenants who are renewing and the new tenants (if applicable).
